In late November of 2008 we had a call from a lady called Sarah. She had been stalked for 17 yrs.
Sarah had thought that the stalker was due in court and that her stalking problems were all behind her. Then one night she spotted her stalker following her from her local train station.
She immediately called the Police only to be told that her case had been dropped by the CPS (Crown Prosecution Service) due to lack of evidence.
She learned for the first time that all restrictions on her stalker had been lifted and he was now free to go wherever he liked.
At this point, having lost faith in the Police and the legal system, she scanned the internet and called The National Stalker Programme for assistance.
More and more evidence has been collected and at the time of writing the case is still due in court.
But Sarah is feeling positive about the outcome:
“Thanks to the National Stalker Programme... I feel safe enough to sleep at night. I know help is only a phone call away.
I can’t thank Jeff and his team enough for their guidance, support and advice.
With the help of the NSP and their expertise I will bring this awful stalking case to an end!”
